Henry Cowell Redwoods

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. It's located only a few short miles from the city of Santa Cruz and features 15 miles of hiking and riding trails through a variety of ecosystems including redwood forest, riparian zones, meadows, and a rare ecosystem known as the Santa Cruz Sandhills. The Camp Host position is based in the campground of the park, located in the Sandhills ecosystem.

There are 110 campsites plus a bike-in site. The camp host is provided with full hookups in a site that can accommodate a maximum 34' RV. Duties include greeting campers and providing information and assistance. The camp host is also responsible for wood sales, a daily camp check, and some light maintenance. This position is typically 5 days a week with most activity in the mornings.
