Experience how art-making and group projects build vibrant communities. Our goal is to empower youth to relax, express their creativity, and connect more deeply with the people and places where they live.

Upcoming Projects

Below are a list of events where you volunteer.

Oct 1 - Printmaking Workshoplearn how to make monotype print and select one artwork to present in the community gallery at Cloverdale Recreation Centre.

Fall 2019 - Teen Art Drop-In: meet up after school to hang out and make art together

Fall 2019 - Creative Skill Share: develop leadership skills and plan the Holiday Art Jam.

Dec 6 - Youth Holiday Art Jam: we are planning an Art Jam to celebrate the end of the year. This event can be best described as an art potluck, where youth plan different art activities and then bring them together for a feast of creativity.

Spring 2020Clayton AIR: we are bringing back this artists-in-residence program where youth work alongside local artists to develop a project for their community.


Program Dates

Oct 1-Generally drop-in’s and workshops happen on Mondays after school

    • 3:00-5:00pm

    • Ecole Salish Secondary, Rm 240

    • Every Monday when there’s school

Volunteer Criteria

  • Ability to work in teams, respecting different opinions, contributing your ideas

  • Willingness to try new things

  • Ability to commit to the time required

  • Past experience leading events is an asset
