Tour Guide Volunteer at Historic Stewart Farm

Tour Guide Volunteer at Historic Stewart Farm

Step back in time and volunteer at Historic Stewart Farm in South Surrey.  As a person with good communication skills, you will guide brief tours of the farmhouse and share local history with members of the public.

But you don’t know all the local history? No problem! We will train you with key information and staff are always available to field more detailed questions. We also provide costumes so you look the part. How great is that?

You must be at least 14 years of age for this position. Weekday and weekend volunteer opportunities are available and we will work with your schedule.

If creating social connections and making a community impact is appealing to you, please fill out the application form. For more information, email heritagevolunteers@surrey.ca or call 604-502-6461.

Application Process

As of March 16, all City of Surrey recreation centres, ice arenas, culture facilities, pools and libraries have been closed to minimize the risk of transmission of the COVID-19. As a result, many of our programs have been suspended and there are no current volunteer opportunities for the time being. In anticipation of our future volunteer opportunities, we will still be accepting new applications to some of our programs. However, new applications will not be processed until we return to normal business operations.
