Party for the Planet - April 2017

Surrey's Party for the Planet celebrates sustainability and City of Surrey environmental partnerships. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

Surrey International Children’s Festival - May 25, 26, 27 2017

Volunteer at the Surrey International Children’s Festival to inspire young hearts and minds. The Festival takes place each year at the Surrey Arts Centre and Bear Creek Park. The festival celebrates rich and diverse cultural heritage through performing and visual arts. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

Canada Day - July 1, 2017

Be part of  Surrey's Canada Day Celebration at the Cloverdale Amphitheatre - we're Western Canada’s Largest July 1st Celebration! Join us in for an event full of activities and entertainment for the whole family. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

Fusion Festival - July 22 & 23, 2017

Join Fusion Festival Surrey’s largest 2-day multicultural celebration with more than 30 international pavilions celebrating music, food and culture. Here, you'll help bring together many distinct cultural heritages. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

Tree Lighting Festival - November 18, 2017

Join the Mayor and Council with Frosty and Santa to light the our official Christmas tree. Kick off Surrey's holiday season as a volunteer in the Tree Lighting Festival. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

Newton Community Festival - June 2017

Volunteer at the Newton Community Festival and enjoy a free event with the whole family. Here, you'll see:

  • Multicultural Community Mural Unveiling

  • Main Stage featuring Live Music and Dance
  • Sport and Fitness demonstrations and free trials

Surrey Fest (formerly Whalley Community Festival)- June 2017

Be part of Surrey Fest this June. This event, put on by a group of a volunteers representing residents, businesses, city employees and non-profit groups, is celebrating the 14th anniversary of the festival!

This free annual event in September is a day of fun, excitement and celebration.

Kids Conference - November 2017

Help link children 6 to 12 years old with community resources, services and educational experiences at our Kids Conference.
