Volunteer MSC Driver and Program Support
About the Role
This role will support participants who have limited access to transport and are socially isolated to participate in Access’ Multicultural Sports Club (MSC) programs and activities, such as Youth Night, by driving them to and from their home to the activities. The MSC strives to promote social inclusion through sport by encouraging the concept of sportsmanship and mateship across cultural boundaries while seeking to address the barriers that culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) youth have to face when participating in sport, as well as linking them with local social, sporting and vocational opportunities.
You will use SSI’ car, which can be picked up from SSI Gateway, 91 Wembley Road, Woodridge and drive participants to Gould Adams Community Centre, 558 Kingston Road, Kingston.
