Events Assistant

Use your people skills to help at Library events and community festivals.  We attend or host many community celebrations, parades, and cultural events throughout the year.  Be part of the team that assists in making these events successful. 

If you are interested to volunteer as an Events Assistant volunteer, make sure to indicate it as an "General Interest" under "My profile". New volunteers are required to sign-up and attend an interview, you will be interviewed for the position(s) that interest you. Successful candidates need to complete the online General Orientation Workshop  and provide a recent Police Check (VSC) as outlined at www.markham.ca/volunteering. Once you meet the 3 minimum requirements (interview, General Orientation Workshop and VSC) you will be able to see and schedule yourself for the opportunities we offer.
