You play a vital role as a Family Coach, walking alongside parents in crisis and helping them move toward stability and hope.
As a Family Coach, you will:
Support, Safeguard, and Strengthen
- Support the Host Family, ensuring they have the resources needed to provide a safe, nurturing environment.
- Safeguard each child by assessing safety within 48 hours of placement and continuing weekly check-ins for at least a month.
- Strengthen families in need by connecting them with community resources and helping coordinate appointments.
- Steward healthy relationships by facilitating connection between the Host Family and the family in need with compassion and empathy.
Listen, Lead, and Lift
- Listen attentively, creating space for Host Families and families in need to share openly and feel heard.
- Lead with clarity by managing expectations and guiding both families through challenges with wisdom and care.
- Lift others through empathy, reassurance, and practical support—offering hope, problem-solving alongside community resources, and a calm, steady presence in stressful situations.
