The Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) is an award-winning, year-round program of community volunteer activities designed by teens for teens. YVCs works to address community needs and inspire youth for a lifetime commitment to service. Past projects have benefited local community gardens, Habitat for Humanity, Safe Haven Humane Society, and more. YVC is open to anyone age 11 - 18; new volunteers are always welcome. Applications are accepted year-round as well; to get started complete and return your application to our Avery Park office. Corvallis Parks and Recreation's Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) program provides school year and summer volunteer opportunities for youth ages 11-18. Projects feature icebreakers, service learning, and reflections to encourage teambuilding and critical thinking among volunteers.
