Old Sacramento Living History Program
Old Sacramento Living History Program – Volunteers are needed to serve as costumed historical characters from the Gold Rush Era to the Civil War and to participate in programs and activities in Old Sacramento. Training is provided, as well as assistance with costuming. Volunteers who are uncomfortable being a re-enactor can provide behind-the-scenes support: conducting research, member recruitment, sewing, etc. Most events and training take place evenings and weekends.
