Powerhouse Science Center General Volunteer

The Powerhouse Science Center, Discovery Museum Campus is located at 3615 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CA  95821. The Powerhouse Science Center is a non-profit teaching and learning center.  The Powerhouse Discovery Museum Campus features Sacramento's only public planetarium as well as rotating science exhibits, an animal hall, a natural park setting, and the Challenger Learning Center. More than 60,000 school children and more than 28,000 members of the public visit the Discovery Museum Campus every year, and receive—for many of them—their first introduction to the world of science and its many opportunities.

Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of positions to assist with the daily operations of the science center. Some of the volunteer opportunities are: School Program Assistant, Challenger Flight Assistant, Office Assistant, Gift Shop Assistant, Special Events Personnel, Weekend Activities Assistant, and much more!
