Community Gardens

Make it a day on not a day off this Martin Luther King Jr. Day and support the Ninos Community Garden at 703 Northfield Drive, Sacramento.  (The community garden is at the end of the road on the right.) Volunteers are needed on Monday, January 20th, 2020 from 9 am to 12 noon to rake, hoe, pull weeds, and trim bushes and trees. Wear closed toe shoes, dress in layers, wear sunscreen and a hat and clothing that can get dirty.  Minimum age to volunteer is 14.  Questions? Contact Bill Maynard at wmaynard@cityofsacramento.org
