Volunteer Social Support Groups

8.00am – 4.30pm

Hills Community Care offers a range of Social Support Groups to clients residing within the Hills Shire and Western Sydney funding area.

Our social support groups offer diverse recreational and social activities for our clients.

Volunteers support the program activity officer in the following duties:

8. 1. • Assist with morning tea and lunch
      • Assist clients with activities as directed
      • Participate in outings when required

The Social support groups role is best suited to a person who is:

8. 2. • reliable and punctual
      • empathetic and patient
      • happy and easy going
      • proactive and alert
      • has their own car or can use public transport

Our organisation offers volunteers ongoing support, social events and training throughout the year.

Volunteers play a supportive role to ensure we are providing the best possible service to clients.

We need volunteers who can commit to working to standards consistent with Council policies and procedures and with specific emphasis on Workplace Health and Safety, and customer satisfaction.
