Role Description - Volunteer Meals on Wheels Driver and Helper
10.00am – 12.30pm
Our volunteers work in pairs to deliver prepared meals to our client’s home on weekdays from 10.00am up to 12.30pm.
This involves volunteers using their own vehicles, or acting as a helper to the volunteer driver.
Hills Community Care delivers meals to clients residing in the Hills Shire Local Government Area and to some suburbs located within the Cumberland Prospect areas
The Volunteer Meals on Wheels Driver and Helper Role is best suited to a person who:

- Is reliable and punctual
- Has good oral and written communication skills
- Has good attention to detail
- Has their own car or reasonable public transport

Our organisation offers ongoing support, social events and training for volunteers.
Volunteers play a vital role to ensure we are providing the best possible service to our clients.
Volunteers are required to work to standards consistent with Councils policy and procedures and with emphasis on work health and safety, and customer satisfaction.
