VolunTEEN
The VolunTEEN Corps is a community service initiative that offers middle and high school students an opportunity for civic involvement.
Our teen volunteers will develop and strengthen a multitude of skills including responsibility, communication, accountability, time management, and more. Additionally, they will gain valuable work experience that can be included on their resume. Teens also develop a better understanding of city government, serve as ambassadors within the community, and accumulate community service hours for school.
The Flower Mound Public Library VolunTEEN Program offers teens the opportunity to give back to their community while gaining valuable skills and experience. The purpose of the program is to engage teens in meaningful volunteer work, such as organizing library materials, assisting with children's programs, and supporting special projects. This hands-on experience allows volunteers to develop skills in responsibility, attention to detail, time management, and communication—all while fostering a deeper connection with the local community.
