Volunteer Driver
About the role
Our Volunteer Driver's help to provide travel for clients that are unable to get to important appointments, attending groups and meetings, or for collections and deliveries of things such as medication.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to enable our clients to obtain all available support that might not otherwise be accessible to them. You will get to work in a 1:1 environment with people and provide support to them on what might be a challenging journey.
Location and Time Commitment
- Cornwall
- Flexible hours between 8am - 6pm, Monday to Saturday
Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Collecting clients from their homes and taking to and returning from appointments at places such as hospitals, rehabs, We Are With You offices

Delivering prescriptions to or from offices and chemists

Supporting workers with appropriate journeys as required

Supporting clients to feel calm and prepared when travelling to and from appointments

Keeping in contact with staff and clients where appropriate to provide updates and feedback

Reporting any safeguarding concerns
