Groups
Community service groups, youth groups, garden clubs, Scout troops, church organizations, families, schools, and private businesses are encouraged to get involved.
Volunteer groups will work directly with site staff to identify projects that are suitable for your group. Projects such as; trail work, litter clean-up, painting, invasive species removal, general maintenance and more.
About Wallace State Park
Less than an hour from Kansas City, Wallace State Park is an island of serenity. Visitors can fish in the park’s six-acre lake or hike one of four scenic trails with benches along the way for relaxing. Picnic sites that are shaded by trees are scattered throughout and the family-oriented campground includes modern restrooms and hot showers.
