Natural Resource Aides provide assistance to full time staff in the following areas; ecosystem restoration and preservation; endangered and exotic species control; Natural Area management; scientific research to monitor ecosystem quality; and assist with prescribed burns and wildfire suppression.

The Meramec River and Calvey Creek border Robertsville State Park, creating unlimited outdoor opportunities. The park's landscape includes scenic bluffs along the river, and a patchwork of hardwood trees, rich river bottomlands, and clearings that date to when the park was a working farm in the mid 1800s.
