Reception Volunteer

Our Reception volunteers staff our reception area, greeting clients, managing paperwork, answering phones, and undertaking a range of administrative tasks while supporting the Community Support interviewing team in their client work. Working within a very positive and committed team there is lots of training and support for all our volunteers!
A related role on Reception is 'Runners', who work between reception and the interviewing team to put together the 'orders' of food and other material aid we provide to people. Runners also receive and sort donations, and undertake other active roles from time to time.
If you are a well-organised person with excellent communication and teamwork skills, interested in supporting your community, we encourage you to apply, or for more information please email admin@spcsic.org or phone 03 5986 1285 and speak to the Volunteer Support Coordinator.
