Community Support Worker

Community Support Workers provide:
• Crisis intervention
• Holistic assessments
• Information, referrals and advocacy
• Support, including a supportive and listening ear, Emergency Relief (e.g. fresh food or food parcels, vouchers or gift cards, transport and pharmacy assistance, or other forms of financial assistance) and practical support like form-filling.

We provide a supportive, welcoming and friendly environment to volunteer. Our volunteering roles provide critical support to community members needing help by providing information, referrals, and support services. Our volunteer roles deliver:
- Emergency relief
- Tax help and No interest loan scheme
- Energy assistance program
- Counselling and caseworker support, and
- Administrative support
