Market Day Support Volunteer
The Market Day Food Worker plays a vital role in delivering fresh, nutritious food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
This position supports the operations of the Fresh Food Market Program by:
- Assisting in the collection, sorting, packing, and distribution of fresh food items
- Working collaboratively with staff and volunteers, and
- Assisting vulnerable community members in a respectful manner that honours diverse life experiences, maintains dignity, and fosters self-reliance.
When: Wednesday: 9:30am to 2:00pm

- Energy assistance program
- Counselling and caseworker support, and
- Administrative support
