Buggy Drivers
Our buggy drivers are a valued part of our volunteering programme as they support patients to get around the hospital.
You will be on hand to support patients and visitors with limited mobility to attend their appointments in the hospital.
Our buggy drivers are extremely valued and are a key part of the hospital.
Requirements
This is a proactive role which aims to provide extra support to our patients and therefore you’ll need to be on the look out for people needing support at the designated pick up points. You will be responsible for safely transporting patients in our golf buggies for which you must pass an assessment. You will also need to have a valid UK driving license.
You will need to be interested in the wellbeing of our patients and able to contribute to patient care by helping and linking with others within the boundaries of your volunteer role.
Overall you will have compassion and understanding and be able to demonstrate our Trust's Values in everything you do as a volunteer with us.
