Communication Plus - Telephone Communication Volunteer
We are recruiting for Telephone Communication Volunteers for our Communications Plus Service.
We are looking for volunteers to assist the service in delivering our Supported Conversation Service (C+) for people with communication difficulties following a stroke. The support will help aid their communication skills via telephone calls made by the volunteer. In doing so, helping improve the persons confidence and promote independence.
The service is based remotely, and volunteers will be making calls from their homes during service hours; Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 3.00pm. Sessions to be agreed.
This experience would suit anyone with an interest in speech and language therapy or anyone with patience and compassion who is willing to learn new skills. It is a very rewarding role for the right person.
