Pet Foodbank Volunteer 

Are you keen to support vulnerable pets in the local community? Do you enjoy meeting and talking with new people? Are you a confident driver? 

 

What will I gain from it? 

  1. Play a key role in delivering Wood Green’s pet foodbank service 
  2. Help improve the lives of pets in their homes both now and in the future 
  3. Increase your own pet welfare knowledge 
  4. Be part of a friendly, dedicated team 
  5. Training and uniform will be supplied 

     

    What will I be doing? 

  1. Driving charity vehicles 
  2. Collecting donated pet food from donation bins in the community 
  3. Sorting and organizing the food to ensure accurate record keeping 
  4. Delivering food to local distribution centres and to homes who need it
  5. Promoting community engagement messaging including sign posting to services. 

     

    What is Wood Green looking for? 

  1. Energy and enthusiasm to engage with local foodbank teams 
  2. A desire to promote responsible pet ownership 
  3. Friendly, conscientious and a good communicator 
  4. An ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  5. Volunteers over the age of 18 with a full clean driving licence 
  6. You’ll be expected to comply with the Charity’s Driver and Vehicle and Safeguarding policies.
