Community Volunteers - Community Volunteer Gardener
Community Volunteer Gardener
Volunteer Gardeners can be a vital ‘helping hand’ for many people who are struggling to maintain their garden for a whole variety of reasons, sometimes health-related. Volunteer support may be short-term (e.g. if someone is recovering from an illness or operation) or an on-going need. Our volunteers make a real difference to someone’s life – even if just a smile and a chat!
The time commitment of our Volunteer Gardeners is flexible, depending on what suits our volunteers and the people we help and the weather!
Volunteers are reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses – our mileage allowance is in line with HMRC recommended amounts.
