Environmental Enhancement - Juniper Canyon Enhancement Project

Location: 1377 Delevan Drive, San Diego, CA 92104

Participate in trash clean-up, in removing invasive non-native plants, and the replanting of native plants. (Depending on season/time of the year) During planting season, this project entails planting scrub oaks, lemonade berry, buckwheat, laurel sumac, manzanita, and Coast Live Oak trees to help restore the canyon in parts it has been destroyed. This project also includes remove arundo, which looks like bamboo that is harmful to our waterways, native plants, and is of no use to insects, birds and other animals.

Please wear clothes suitable for outdoor work, closed toed shoes, and bring water.

*Adult supervision required for volunteers ages 14 and under*

*Minors must fill out a volunteer participation form prior to the event that must have a parent/guardian signature.
