Docent - Nature Center Front Desk Docent

To protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), all recreation centers, pools, and facilities managed by the Parks and Recreation Department will close to the public at the conclusion of operations on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Facilities will be closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020, until at least Monday, April 6, 2020. For the time being, all volunteers are asked to stay home, Thank you.

Volunteers assist staff by providing information to patrons, leading educational tours and programs to local students and adults. 

Volunteers at Tecolote Nature Center help with providing information to the public. Volunteers assist with meetings, they outreach to schools and community groups. Volunteers may also assist Rangers with special projects.

  • Annual Volunteer and Intern Training Must be I have watched the training video and read the policies.
  • Your Age Group Must be at least 16 and older
