Carmel Mountain Ranch Open Space is a slice of gorgeous coastal sage scrub and chaparral habitat abutting Meadowbrook State Ecological Reserve, Sabre Springs Open Space, as well as private and City of Poway parcels. Amidst gnatcatcher calls and the blush of sage scenting the breeze, our project will endeavor to treat this land with the respect it deserves.

This project seeks to remedy general maintenance concerns throughout the City-owned open space area, including: invasive species, graffiti and litter removal, trail closure and reclamation, habitat restoration, and trail maintenance.
