Environmental Enhancement One-Time Outdoor - Court Ordered Outdoor Beautification Volunteer Mission Bay

To protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), all recreation centers, pools, and facilities managed by the Parks and Recreation Department will close to the public at the conclusion of operations on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Facilities will be closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020, until at least Monday, April 6, 2020. For the time being, all volunteers are asked to stay home, Thank you.

This volunteer opportunity is only open to those seeking to fulfill court-mandated volunteer hours.

Volunteers assist City staff with care of Mission Bay Park, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Volunteers will coordinate with the project supervisor the times they will complete their hours.)

Volunteers must be able to bend regularly and stand on uneven surfaces, at times on an incline, and be outside for their entire shift.

Volunteers' applications are subject to prior approval.
