4 - CITY HOSTED CLEANUP - CHINATOWN - Chinatown Cleanup - 2024-08-10
Join us for our August Chinatown Cleanup on Saturday, August 10th from 10:15am-12:15pm!
Please note that we will meet at a different location than most of our other Chinatown Cleanups. We will be meeting in the Chinatown Foundation office at #300-127 E Pender St., Vancouver. Please look for our sign and staff member who will direct you up to the office.
We will provide cleanup equipment such as gloves, litter pickers or tongs, and garbage bags, but you are also welcome to bring your own. Please be sure to review the Safety Guidelines.
The Chinese CPC will also be coordinating graffiti removal to coincide with the litter cleanup, and will be providing light refreshments after the cleanup.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
- Click the "Fill in an application" button
- If you are an existing volunteer, enter your username and password and click agree. Fill in any missing information. Then, sign up for the appropriate shifts.
- If you are a new volunteer, create an account and fill in any relevant information. Then, sign up for the appropriate shifts.
For volunteers who have previously participated one of our three cleanup programs (neighbourhood cleanup party, adopt a block, city hosted cleanups), you would already have an account with us that we created on our end. You can login to your MyImpact account using your email and reset your password using "forgot my password".
CONFIRMATION:
Once you've signed up, we will send out a reminder email closer to the date of the event. Please check your Opportunities Tab on the MyImpact website to confirm that you're signed up or assigned.
