Position overview:

To assist with providing inspirational gymnastic activities to the community so that our members increase their physical fitness and personal goals through the fundamentals of gymnastics.

The Gymnastics Coach will assist in running classes and supporting and teaching participants the fundamentals of gymnastics and fitness. 

Activities and tasks:

Duties will vary depending on the class. Tasks may include:

• Dealing with members of the community of varying ages
• Assisting with teaching basic fundamental and gymnastics skills
• Teaching lifelong skills and self –confidence to all members
• Maintaining and checking equipment
• Working with the Head Coach and Senior Coaches on maintaining the risk management documentation

Skills and experience required:

• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Motivated and encouraging

• Commit to PCYC Queensland’s Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy
• Positively contribute to a safe and supportive service environment for children and young people
