Program Activities - Site Base Mentoring in Roseville
Volunteer mentors are needed to support our site-based Big Brothers Big Sisters program at Kaseberg Elementary School and Cooley Middle School in Roseville. Mentors spend approximately 1 hour per week after school for the duration of the school year, on school grounds, participating in a variety of fun activities and getting to know their little brother or sister. This school based mentoring program has proven to be very successful nationwide in improving the attendance and academic performance of students enrolled in the program; and in decreasing their involvment in risky behavior. This is a very rewarding opportunity. Other volunteer opportunities in community-based programs are also available.
