Placer Nature Center

This new role is lots of fun, but challenging! To help build awareness and involvement in 2009 we are looking for people with project management skills to run contests. Contests can be anything from art to writing to video for people of all ages. The Contest Organizer (CO) will makes sure all the necessary functions or the contest are in play, including promotion, entry collection, judging and prize distribution. You will have the support of Placer Nature Center Directors, Media Specialists and Nature Cybernauts (bloggers, posters and online profile updaters). Time commitment will vary, but the majority of the work can be performed from home on a computer. We recommend a high speed internet connection, but it is not necessary. Computers are also available for use by the CO at Placer Nature Center.
