Immigration Support Services - Mock Interviewers
Volunteer Project Description:
Volunteers conduct mock interviews with the adult students in the Catholic Charities Bank Teller Certification Program to prepare them for job interviews. The students are primarily speakers of languages other than English and are relatively recent legal immigrants to the United States. The students are looking for help preparing for the American-style interview so they can get good jobs and support their families.
At the workshop, volunteers will:
Volunteers should be comfortable conducting an interview and capable of providing feedback using a checklist. Volunteers must be 21 years or older.
The mock interview workshop will take place at the Spanish Catholic Center, 1618 Monroe St NW, Washington, DC 20010.
