ERAP Volunteer - Emergency Rental Assistance Program Volunteer

Emergency Rental Assistance Volunteer

The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) supports low income families in Washington DC avoid homelessness and eviction by providing them with emergency rental payments to landlords. The ERAP volunteer will work directly with people seeking assistance: interview them about their needs, review their applications, and enter their applications into the online database. Volunteers will also talk with people to identify and address case management goals, including participating in other SEFC programs: Family-to-Family Mentoring program and the Financial Stability Network.
