COMPASS

This program introduces high school students who live in Wards 7 and 8 of Washington DC to the field of Social Work through a variety of activities including visits to local colleges of social work, service projects, and shadowing Social Workers.

The students receive a stipend through the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). Students attend the program ~ 2 days a week for 8 weeks.
