Weekly Emergency Food Grab‑Bag Assembly

Every Friday, we invite volunteers to help us prepare emergency food grab bags that go directly to neighbors facing hunger. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact activity that ensures families in crisis have immediate access to nutritious food.

Volunteer Activity: Emergency Grab‑Bag Assembly

  • Fridays, 9:00AM–4:00PM Volunteers may come for any portion of the day.

What Volunteers Will Do

  • Assemble emergency food grab bags with shelf‑stable items

  • Organize and restock pantry supplies

  • Prepare bags for distribution to individuals and families in need

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 15 lbs

The Montgomery County Family center serves anyone in need living in Montgomery County. As a gateway to the many programs and services of Catholic Charities. Our staff guides families through crisis to stability. We focus on partnering with other organizations in the community to provide complete care to all who seek our help.
