Quality Improvement Assistant Volunteer


Catholic Charities’ Medical and Medical Clinics provide access to primary care for adults and children, sub‐acute ambulatory care, health education and disease management. We serve people of all ages who are low‐income, uninsured, or covered by Alliance DC, and provide low‐cost, patient-centered primary and specialty care services on‐site.


A Quality Improvement Assistant will help conduct phone surveys, compile results, review and format documents, maintain databases, and follow up with various tasks as assigned. This volunteer will contribute to improving the quality of medical and dental services Catholic Charities delivers to people most in need.


The Quality Improvement Assistant Volunteer will be responsible for:

  • Helping to conduct phone surveys
  • Compiling results
  • Reviewing and formatting documents
  • Maintaining databases
  • Following up with various tasks


Desired Skills, Experience & Characteristics:

  • Great customer service skills
  • Experience working with underserved/underprivileged clients
  • A professional attitude
  • An interest in public health (not required)



  • Intermediate Spanish proficiency
  • Bilingual Spanish/English speaker is preferred
  • Volunteers must be 18 years or older
