Quality Assurance Volunteer

 

 

Catholic Charities Anchor Behavioral Health Services provides help for adults living with mental illness that includes furthering education, finding and securing employment, managing medication and providing ongoing case management services. 

 

The Quality Assurance Volunteer will assist the Quality Assurance and Improvement team. This volunteer will contribute to improving the quality of behavioral health services for children and adults under the care of Catholic Charities.

 

The Quality Assurance Volunteer will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Quality Assurance and Improvement team with behavioral healthcare tasks
  • Interacting with clients

 

Desired Skills, Experience & Characteristics:

  • Great customer service skills
  • Experience working with underserved/underprivileged clients
  • Professionalism

 

Qualifications:

  • Volunteers must be 18 years or older

Support:

  • The volunteer will participate in Catholic Charities Volunteer Orientation
  • The volunteer will receive on-site training at the Anchor Behavioral Health Services center
  • Volunteers will have on-site supervision

 

Time Commitment:

  • The volunteer must commit to serve for at least one year
  • The volunteer must serve for no less than 8 hours per week
  • The volunteer is needed during business hours

 

Location: Anchor Behavioral Health Services, 1001 Lawrence St., NE Washington DC

  • There is limited street parking available in front of the facility
  • Also accessible via the DC Metro Rail Red Line Brookland-CUA station
