Green Squad - Event Waste Management Assistance - 6.25 - 8.27: Green Squad - Music in the Park Series

 

General Description

Relax and enjoy some great music in the beautiful outdoors. Help Dakota County and eventgoers make this a low-waste event by helping sort waste into recycle, compost, and trash bins as well as educate eventgoers on how to properly dispose of their trash and help answer general event questions.

2024​ performance dates

  • Tuesday, June 25, 5–7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 30, 5–7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 27, 5–7 p.m.

 

Volunteer Time: 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help with the event’s waste management
  • Be a friendly and welcoming face to our event goers
  • This opportunity will be outside, so dress accordingly

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 16 or older (if younger, you must be with an adult)
  • Approved Dakota County Recycling Ambassador

 

Minimum Time Commitment

Shifts are 3 hours each 

 

Activity Level

Mild - May include light work or walking short distances over relatively level terrain. Comfortable shoes recommended.
