Dakota County Historical Society Special Events - 5.25: WWII Historic Fashion Show Model
The Dakota County Historical Society is once again hosting a Mall of America event over the Memorial Day Weekend (May 22 – 25, 2020). The theme for 2020 will be World War II, including uniforms, artifacts, exhibit banners and much more!
The Dakota County Historical Society is requesting volunteers interested in participating in a World War II-era fashion show on Monday, May 25, 2020. The fashion show will take place from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the Rotunda of Mall of America. In 2019, more than 1,000 people viewed the fashion show and it was featured in news stories throughout the week.
DCHS is looking for specific female sizes (36-26-34) to fit vintage uniforms already available. If you do not fit these exact dimensions, you can still express interest as other clothing options may be available. At this time, we are only looking for female models for the show.
