Ending Homelessness - Heading Home Dakota Committee Member
General Description
This is a 10 year plan to end homelessness in Dakota County focusing on goals and strategies to prevent and end homelessness. We have several committees, but one of the committees is more focused on volunteer opportunities, the Community Education and Engagement committee. It typically meets once a month on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 3:00 pm at Mary Mother of the Church in Burnsville. If you are available during the day, this is a great committee to become involved in a variety of interesting projects in Dakota County. We have a speaker’s bureau that does presentations; we conduct surveys on homelessness and raise community awareness and support for projects.
