Thompson County Park - Take a Kid Fishing - June 09, 2024 - 6.09: Take a Kid Fishing - Event Greeter and Spanish Translator

 

 

General Description

A smiling face is always a great way to start off an event, help us provide that amazing experience to others.  Help with event check-in and all event activities by floating around and helping with translations from English to Spanish and vice versa. Lunch will be provided with vegetarian and gluten free options available.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Float around the event and help staff and participants with translating instructions and questions

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 16 or older (15 and under can volunteer with an adult)
  • Event will be outside
  • Must enjoy working with people
  • Must speak both conversational Spanish and English

 

Minimum Time Commitment

4 hours

 

Activity Level

Easy - May include light work or walking short distances over relatively level terrain. Comfortable shoes recommended.
