General Description

Who says you have to get wet to learn how to fish? With support from event staff, help teach our young anglers how to cast a line at this fun outdoor game. Prior casting experience is helpful but in now way necessary. Dress for the weather, you’ll be outside in full sun. Lunch will be provided with vegetarian and gluten free options available.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist and teach anglers of different ages how to cast
  • Assist National Park Service staff

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 16 or older (15 and under can volunteer with an adult)
  • Event will be outside
  • Must enjoy working with people
  • Fishing knowledge helps but is not needed!

 

Minimum Time Commitment

4.5 hours

 

Activity Level

Easy - May include light work or walking short distances over relatively level terrain. Comfortable shoes recommended.
