WHEP Trainings (Registered 2024 WHEP Volunteers Only) - 6.27: WHEP Training: Vegetation ID
WHEP Vegetation ID Training
Thank you for registering for the Dakota County Wetland Health Evaluation Program (WHEP). The project was started in 1997 and has been expanding ever since. It is only possible by the continued involvement from interested people like you.
At the WHEP Vegetation ID Training, you will work with your team and learn about the common plants found in local wetlands and how to identify them using a MN Pollution Control Agency-authored guidebook. This training will consist of a classroom presentation and hands-on lab work.
The trainings are not mandatory but are recommended. If you can’t come to the training, take a look at past videos and presentations on the WHEP website.
