Citizen Advisory Committees - Adult Citizen Advisory Committees: Workforce Advisory Committee
Dakota County Citizen Advisory Committees support County government by involving citizens in the decision-making process, meeting requirements of state law, helping to define community norms and standards, providing technical expertise, serving as advocates, offering feedback, and reflecting the diverse interests of County clients and residents.
The Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board provides guidance for and exercises oversight with respect to activities for the Job Training Programs in Dakota and Scott counties.

How to apply
1. Complete an Open Appointment Application form.
2. Sign the application.
3. Send the application form to:

You may apply at any time. While most citizen appointments are made in January, mid-year vacancies occasionally require appointments at other times of the year. Your application will be kept on file for one year.
Appointees cannot miss three consecutive meetings or 50 percent of the meetings during any consecutive 12-month period. For more information of committee policies, contact County Administration Department at 651-438-4418.
