WHEP Trainings (Registered 2024 WHEP Volunteers Only) - 5.28: WHEP Training: Introduction and Field Methods
WHEP Introduction and Field Methods Training
Thank you for registering for the Dakota County Wetland Health Evaluation Program (WHEP). The project was started in 1997 and has been expanding ever since. It is only possible by the continued involvement from interested people like you.
At the Field Methods training, you will meet your team leader, team members, learn how WHEP got started and become familiar with the procedure for sampling for macroinvertebrates and plants. Don’t worry if you feel like you don’t learn it all in one night. There are many opportunities to learn from your team leader and team members.
The trainings are not mandatory but are recommended. If you can’t come to the training, take a look at past videos and presentations on the WHEP website.
