General Description

Help us take down more than 1,200 luminaries situated along walking trails. Don't worry, we will provide all tools and materials needed to make this project a quick and enjoyable one. Get outside and have fun!

Volunteers who help with this opportunity will get a free ticket (one per person volunteering) to use to access the Trails By Candlelight event the night before. Tickets can be picked up at the admissions tent during the event.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Help take down more than 1,200 luminaries.
• This event will be outside for the duration of the event, so dress accordingly.
• All supplies for cleanup will be provided. 

Minimum Qualifications

• All ages are welcome to help. Great for families. 
• Anyone under 18 years of age requires adult supervision for the duration of the event.
• Comfortable with walking 2-4 miles over relatively level terrain. 

Minimum Time Commitment

2 - 4 hours, times will vary due to location and speed of work. 

Activity Level

Moderate - Includes light work such as bending over and picking up items under 5 lbs. on a continuous basis and walking moderate distances (2-4 miles) over relatively level terrain. Comfortable shoes recommended.
