Community Trash Pickup - 5.31: Community Pickup Event - Farmington
General Description
Spend some time outside and help out your local community. Busy roads means that sadly lots of trash finds its way into our local ditches. Do your neighborhood and the environment a favor and come for a morning to help pick up garbage on a section of county highway in the Farmington area.

Farmington, MN 55024
Park in the small parking lot adjacent to the Veterans Memorial off of Pine Street. The group will be meeting in the parking lot before going out to the highway section.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Help pick up trash safely off of a county highway and in the selected community
- Family - friendly and open to all volunteers, even if you don't live in Farmington
- All supplies will be provided
Minimum Qualifications
- We recommend volunteers ages 5 and up for this project.
- Volunteers need to be 16 years old or older to volunteer without a parent or guardian.
- All supplies will be provided.
Minimum Time Commitment
2 - 2.5 hours
Activity Level
Low- Moderate - May involve varying amounts of sitting, standing, and light walking depending on duties the volunteer is responsible for.
