Green Squad Events - 5.26: Organics Welcome Kit Assembly

General Information


Dakota County is opening three new organics drop sits in July. Residents that sign up receive a Welcome Kit with useful information and certified-compostable bags to get started. We need help putting the Welcome Kits together to be ready to respond to the hundreds - maybe thousands - of new participants.

COVID-19 Safety Protocol

We will be outdoors. Masks are required-masks and hand sanitizer will be provided. Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be maintained throughout entire shift.


Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Sorting materials and counting paper materials
  • Stuffing envelopes with required materials.


Minimum Qualifications

Dakota County Master Recycler/Composter


Activity Level

Light- Activity can be done standing or sitting.
