Community Action - 11.26: Holiday Card Workshop for Veterans and Troops Serving Overseas
General Description
As we inch closer to the Thanksgiving weekend, now is the perfect opportunity to take a moment to stop and think about what we are thankful for. Our holiday card workshop is a great way to put those thoughts into action as we plan to send 100's of holiday cards to troops serving overseas to bring a piece of encouragement and hope to them during the holiday season.
Stop by and create as many cards as you would like at our open house. All materials will be provided, just bring your creativity and friends. Treats, hot drinks, and holiday music will be provided to make this a fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season.
*Pre-registration for this event is not required. Feel free to walk-in day of the event. We will have plenty of supplies and space for everyone.

*This event will be an open house event so drop by during event hours and spend as long as you would like creating and signing cards. No quota or goal required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stop by anytime during the workshop hours and sign/create greeting cards that will be sent to troops serving overseas during the holiday season.
Minimum Time Commitment
Stay for as long as you would like during the event.
